ABC News NOW Incorporates College Students' Perspective Throughout Coverage of Super Tuesday Primaries and Caucuses
STUDENTS "TALK BACK" TO NEWS NOW ON THEIR VIEWS ABOUT KEY NATIONAL ISSUES FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
College students across the nation will contribute to ABC News NOW's comprehensive coverage of the February 5th Super Tuesday Presidential primaries and caucuses. ABC News' 24 hour digital channel will incorporate students' "Talk Back" videos throughout coverage of day's events. ABC's Sam Donaldson and Laura Marquez will co-host the coverage -- reporting on the latest primary and caucus news as millions of Americans in over 20 states across the nation go to the polls. Donaldson and Marquez will also interview guests across all time zones -- including college and university students reacting to the results live on the air. They will examine a wide range of issues at play in the primaries -- from the economy and the Iraq war to illegal immigration and first-time voters.
ABC News NOW selected nine schools from across the country to participate by weighing in on the large national issues that will be impact November's presidential election. Students were given five campaign-issue questions that they could respond to, and they did so, on camera. ABC News NOW will air the questions and have experts respond live.
