ABC News’ “Girlfriends’ Guide to Breast Cancer” Ars on ABC News NOW Thursday, October 11

FIVE-PART VIDEO AVAILABLE ON DEMAND ON ABCNEWS.COM

As part of ABC News' series "The Fight Against Breast Cancer," a special discussion called "The Girlfriends' Guide to Breast Cancer - Brought to You by the Women of ABC News" was broadcast on "Good Morning America Now" today and is available on demand on ABCNEWS.com.

On the "Girlfriends' Guide to Breast Cancer," six women from ABC News -- Political Commentator Cokie Roberts, "Good Morning America" Anchor Robin Roberts, Correspondent Laura Marquez, Senior Vice President Amy Entelis, ABC NewsOne Executive Director Fiona Conway and ABC News Now Executive Producer Jessica Guff, discuss lessons learned from their experiences with breast cancer. Each of the women admitted to using the Internet for additional information, but agreed that visiting chat rooms can be more scary than helpful. "There's a lot of stuff out there that doesn't apply to you, and you always think the worst possible things are going to happen," said Entelis. "Stay away from the personal stories, and focus on your own situation."
